  • No, you do not need a referral to see a psychologist. You are welcome to book in an appointment without a referral; however, you will not be able to access any rebates through Medicare.

You are welcome to contact Sophie Anna Psychology through the Contact tab, email or phone us to schedule an initial session.

  • You can reach out through our ‘Contact’ page, email admin@sophieannapsychology.com or Ph 042323 2322.

Our admin team will be in touch to support you with the next steps. We might ask you to tell us briefly what brings you to book a session, this is to help ensure we are the right service for you. You will then be offered appointment times or provided alternative services that are more suitable.

Just a reminder, when you book an initial appointment, you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit ($117.50) to hold your session booking. This deposit is refundable should you choose to not proceed with the appointment, unless you cancelled after the 48-hour cancellation window. In this case the deposit will be forfeited.

  • Depending on the reason for your child's visit will depend how therapy is introduced.

Sophie Anna Psychology recommends having a parent intake session before starting psychology with your child, so we have discussed openly about your concern about your child and make a plan together on next steps. In this session we can discuss how to introduce psychology to your child.
